TRUMPF Hüttinger is a world-wide leader in manufacturing of power supplies for plasma applications, induction heating, and CO2 laser excitation. Across the industrial spectrum, today’s state-of-the-art quickly becomes tomorrow’s obsolescence. Without a reliable source of process energy, progress in technology would be slowed to a crawl. TRUMPF Hüttinger DC, MF and RF generators make it easy for you to harness this energy for today’s high technology plasma. We set the standards for such applications as flat panel displays, low-e glass coatings and solar photovoltaics. Furthermore, TRUMPF Hüttinger has developed solutions in many areas related to induction heating. Playing a key role in numerous industrial processes, induction heating allows non-contact heating of many different materials with pinpoint accuracy. Surfaces can be hardened, crystals grown and containers sealed, the latter without affecting the package or its contents.
2015 TRUMPF Hüttinger extended its product portfolio with the bi-directional power inverters. Those power inverters charge and discharge battery systems efficiently. Thanks to their modular concept, they can be used in storage solutions of the most diverse power classes – from kilowatts to megawatts. Power inverters from TRUMPF Hüttinger are customized especially for redox flow batteries. They are characterized by their reaction speed and efficiency.

Decades of experience in plasma excitation, induction heating and laser excitation enables TRUMPF Hüttinger to continually provide new and innovative solutions to process energy needs. This, in turn, has earned TRUMPF Hüttinger world-wide recognition and many collaborative business arrangements across the industrial landscape.

After many years as TRUMPF’s exclusive provider of generators for CO2 laser excitation, Hüttinger became a member of the TRUMPF family in 1990. Since 2013 HÜTTINGER Elektronik GmbH + Co. KG is trading as TRUMPF Hüttinger GmbH + Co. KG which reflects the close and successful partnership with the parent company TRUMPF.
The company benefits from sales and service subsidiaries in Europe, America, and Asia. TRUMPF Hüttinger has around 700 employees worldwide and approximately 400 in Freiburg, Germany. Around the world, many key processes in production, research and development get the energy they need from TRUMPF Hüttinger generators.
